It was the perfect, sunny, September day when Elizabeth and Bill said I do at the Grosse Pointe War Memorial. The weather was a nice contrast from their rainy day engagement session earlier this year. Both attorneys in Washington DC, many of Elizabeth and Bill’s guests and members of the wedding party were out-of-towners. With the location being right on Lake St. Claire, it was the perfect place to show off some of Michigan’s best features. We had such a great time at this wedding! Highlights include: the bride in a perfect combination of simplicity and elegance in her J. Crew dress and natural-looking make-up by Patricia from P.S. Cosmetics, the gorgeous Flowers by Gabrielle, silky linens by Affordable Elegance, and the yummy cake by Josef’s Pastry Shop, the goofy and hilarious groomsmen, the War Memorial itself, the gorgeous instrumental music by La Corda, the half-hour at the reception where the power went out and the whole thing was lit by generators and candlelight, and more hilarious groomsmen and guests on the dance floor with Music Box Productions rocking it out! Elizabeth and Bill: You have been such a pleasure to work with this past year! You are both such kind, laid-back people and we know that you have a long and happy future ahead of you! Thank you so much for allowing us to take part in your amazing day. We’re so excited to present your wedding images to you! Enjoy!!
