We were so honored to work with the incredibly talented Nate Marialke in creating images for his latest album. Nate and his breathtakingly beautiful muse and wife, Katherine, are the music directors at Rochester First Assembly of God in Rochester, Michigan. (Special thanks again to Patricia at P.S. Cosmetics in downtown Rochester for doing a fabulous make-up job on Kat!) On a perfectly sunny, spring evening, we had a wonderful time working with them to create imagery for Nate’s new album (working title: Your Kingdom Come). Angela Robitaille

Angela is an interesting and reflective girl who’s not just another pretty face. Having grown up in the Detroit-area, she recently completed college in L.A. and is now seeking a career as a film actress and model. She’s definitely got “the look.” (Special thanks again to P.S. Cosmetics in downtown Rochester for doing another fabulous make-up job for our client!) This was an awesome shoot for us because it allowed me to return to my roots as a photographer in Boston where I was shooting actors, musicians and rock stars (yep, literally rock stars). It was also great for Gabe because not only did he get to work with a smokin’ hot model, but there’s always a lot of creative freedom on these types of shoots. With the film industry booming in Michigan, Angela will be seeking representation from local agencies like The Talent Shop for film, print and fashion. Here are a few of our favorite looks from the day!

Introducing the Beautiful Deborah Thomas!

We had so much fun photographing a dear friend of mine (Jennifer). Deborah is a truly unique individual who’s beautiful inside and out. She’s an aspiring commercial model–and we’re confident that she will do very well–so we had a blast finding all of her looks, and there are many as you will see! It was also fun and refreshing to return to my roots of photographing models and entertainers. Though most people know Deborah by her laugh-out-loud and hilarious personality, we liked her quiet and contemplative looks the best.

Scottish Highland Dancers

“Ciamar a tha sibh?” That’s Scottish for “How are you?” (Don’t worry, we’re not that smart, we found it on a website.) Last Sunday we had the great pleasure of photographing dancers from the Lakes Area School of Highland Dance. The gloomy overcast weather, the medieval-looking architecture of St. Hugo’s, and the abundance of kilts made the whole experience feel very…Scottish. But enough of our rambling. The pictures speak for themselves. Enjoy!
