Heather & Jonathan

It was an absolutely gorgeous November day for Heather and Jonathan’s Inn at St. John’s wedding. Highlights of the day include: the beautiful florals and coordinating by Emerald City Designs, Heather’s simple, elegant beauty and stunning headpiece from Crowning Glory, the hilarious wedding party, the vintage-looking cake by Graf’s, the sun streaming in the stained-glass windows during the ceremony, and most of all, our seemingly quiet and reserved couple who became a total riot at the reception! Heather and Jonathan: It was so much fun working with you both! We felt so welcomed by your friends and family and are honored to have participated in such a monumental event in your lives. Julie & Ryan

Life, laughter, love…lots and lots of love. And life. And laughter. This is what comes to mind when we think of Julie and Ryan’s wedding. (Who you may remember from their fun engagement session.) There are so many lovely things we can say about this couple, it’s hard to know where to start. I guess we’ll start with Ryan’s smile. His huge, infectious smile. You’ll see it a lot throughout this post because he smiles often. It’s one of those smiles that can instantly make ANYone smile back. We can only imagine how much his elementary school teachers must have adored him. And then there’s Julie. Beautiful, kind, vivacious Julie. She’s one of those really down-to-earth, fun-loving girls. She’s the kind of girl who doesn’t care if she gets mud on her wedding dress because she just can’t resist jumping into the biggest leaf pile she’s ever seen with her new husband. To say we had a good time photographing these two would be an understatement. Other highlights include: The super fun, dramatic, windy weather, the beautiful Pine Lake Country Club and stunning St. Thomas More church, the hilarious and well-spoken priest, the fun people in the wedding party, the Blues Brother routine at the reception, working alongside the very talented Third Street Films, the many, many genuine moments of love and gratitude displayed by the bride and groom and of course, their contagious happiness and love. Julie and Ryan: Thank you. Thank you for choosing us to be a part of this incredible time in your lives. You are both truly remarkable people and we have thoroughly enjoyed working with you. We cannot wait to see where life takes you next! Enjoy a few of our favorites from your day below and don’t forget to click the link at the end to see more!

Julie - So beautiful… I’m literally crying at work! I love the slide show where you captured our stolen kiss during the middle of the ceremony. The look of “uh oh… we’re not supposed to kiss yet” on my face is priceless!!!!!!!
